Human density and land interaction

I just wanted to make more visual comparisons between USA and Colombia. When I lived in Cincinnati, I used to tell people in Colombia that I lived in a city like Bogotá’s land but with the population of 2 million instead of the Bogota’s 9 million. I said that so much that I wondered if that would be true. Then, I discovered that I was wrong. Cincinnati is even less dense! Judge by yourselves about sustainability and sense of space. All images use the same scale.

Cincinnati, OH, USA

Twin Cities, MN, USA

Manizales and Pereira, Colombia
Manizales and Pereira, Colombia. Manizales is my lovely home town. At least 1 million both cities together.
