Bio
Germán Mauricio Mejía R. is a Colombian designer. He has explored digital and interactive design issues in different media through design practice, research and teaching. He is assistant professor of the Design department in the University of Caldas, Colombia. In 2007, he was awarded as a Fulbrighter (Colciencias Regions) to study a Master of Design at University of Cincinnati. Currently, he is studying a PhD in Design at University of Minnesota. He is interested in design practice and research about visualizations and interfaces that use appropriate technologies and design principles in order to positively impact society.
